About the studio

D'Werkstatt is a heart project — a place where people of every age can bring their creative ideas to life. Children and adults alike find space here to unfold their imagination and discover hands-on skills.

Groups stay small. During the breaks, everyone gathers, swaps experiences and gets to know one another.

Courses can be booked individually or as a 4-pack. Drop-ins are welcome any time except for the holiday workshops. Dates from August 2026 onwards will be published in June 2026.

Verena Wassmer is a long-time kindergarten teacher and special-needs educator at primary level.

In our studio, children and adults work together. Three values are at the heart of what we do.

We treat each other kindly and handle materials, works in progress and the studio with care. That's the foundation for everyone feeling at home here.

Free expression

There are no rules about what's right or wrong. Everyone gets to try, create and learn at their own pace and in their own way.

Creativity

We encourage experimenting, the courage to make mistakes, and joy in the doing itself. Creative work makes you happy and builds confidence.
